Local community energy groups Truro Eco Energy (TREE) and Fal Energy Partnership (FEP) are organising a Green Open Homes week, funded by the Centre for Sustainable Energy, which will open the doors of local households who have made renewable energy and energy efficiency improvements to their homes.
Please note that this event has now finished.
Truro Eco Energy and Fal Energy Partnership are working together to deliver the Truro and Falmouth Green Open Homes Week, running from October 5th to October 11th where green homes, businesses and other buildings from across the Truro and Falmouth areas will open their doors to people keen to find out more about energy efficiency, renewable technologies and sustainable building materials.
We are delighted that this time round we have not only added more hosts but are also able to showcase a fantastic local green business - Carley’s of Cornwall – and the ‘Jungle Shed’ green building exemplar at the University of Exeter campus at Penryn, both of whom will be running tours for people interested in finding out more about larger-scale green renovations and self-builds.
We would also like to thank Wattstor, Cornish-based providers of renewable energy storage and management systems, for their sponsorship of the event.
